The racing is over for me. The relay was a tough 5km race for me but I was feeling so happy and energized to be out there going for it. My teammates Dasha Gaiazova, Perianne Jones and Madeleine Williams formed a special team because 7 years ago we were the World Junior Championship relay team in Sweden. Many a twist and turn has been taken since then and we all felt it to be a big honor to be competing in these home games, the first Olympics for my teammates of what is sure to be a few-games run for Canada's best female cross country skiers.

I celebrated the wrap of the skiing by catching the awards ceremony in Whistler. Great to be there watching the Bobsleigh Babes collect their hardware and even more crazy exciting when they busted out on stage with The Roots, dancing and jamming with the band! My dad Glenner, sister Rosanna and I had a great time.

My plans for the final few days of the games include some training, dance parties with my sister, cheering at Sara Renner's 30km race Saturday and the men's 50km race Sunday and going to the closing ceremonies. In a couple weeks I will head up to Whitehorse for the Canadian Championships.

What an amazing Olympics... great to be part of it!
